In the ‘EUDI Wallet Infrastructure’ project, a concept for an overall German system for the implementation of the eIDAS 2.0 regulation, including a digital wallet, is being developed and tested. In a public consultation process accompanying the project, representatives of organised civil society, associations, companies and the administration as well as experts from industry are involved.
To complete our team, we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (m/f/d) with a focus on Kotlin as soon as possible.
Verantwortlichkeiten
Your future tasks:
  • You will be part of a team implementing the German smartphone-based PID solution
  • You will have the opportunity to work in a cross-functional team of Tec and Non-Tec colleagues
  • You will support not only in coding, but also in designing the architecture
  • You will get the opportunity to work in a high-stakes, regulated, and politically sensitive environment

What you convince us with:
  • You have a deep understanding of Kotlin Development, which you have already proven in several years of professional experience
  • Your focus has been on developing reliable, scalable, and secure REST API’s
  • When it comes to data base: You have strong knowledge of relational database schema design and SQL query optimization for performance and scalability
  • You have proven ability to deliver value in a high-stakes, regulated, and politically sensitive environment
  • Thanks to your communication skills, you are not only able to get tec colleagues on board in a project, but can also explain your ideas and considerations to non-tech people
  • You are comfortable with transitioning between system architecture design, hands-on coding, and code review
  • You have a good understanding and application of modern symmetric and asymmetric cryptography standards and operations
  • If you already have experience with OAuth / OpenID protocols, this would be an advantage un
